They set off early in the morning, but it was not long before they hit problems.
I woke up today feeling as happy as arctic fox in winter, remembering that I was going to go to Japan very soon. When we arrived we started to drive down the lovely sunny roads when round a corner a large gate appeared in front of the bus. Before I had realised it a wooly mammoth, a sabre tooth tiger and a sloth were huddled by the side of the road! We were driving through the ICE AGE theme park!
We were digging out the roads when something very unfortunate happened. We were having a break and Jonathon was looking behind him at the work we had done when suddenly he shouted,” please stop you’ll cause all the snow to collapse”, but they didn’t hear him. I realised what was happening and ran to stop them. It was too late the snow fell heavily on the children and me. Jonathon tried to call the ambulance but they were on their coffee break so it took longer to get here. I’ve only just been told this and now I’m in hospital.
Well done Carys.
