As the night of the autumn is coming closer the weather becomes foggy it is very difficult for the drivers to drive though falling leaves as the leaves are blown all over the road.

Wow!!!! You can see leaves thrown all over the road, it looks like it has been raining all day, leaves of different colours, red, pink, green and yellow . We have been learning about autumn and how it brings the darker evening.

As the season changes from summer to autumn the leaves in the street changes and began to fall it looks lovely and I wish I could ride my bike through those leaves because I love the reselling sound.

I think they should sweep all the leaves of the road and sweep them up into a bunch and take them away

You can see the leaves slowly drift down from the tall trees. They sway gently like a boat on smooth water. If you ever shiver and you think it is summer be sure it is turning autumn. You can hear the leaves rustle if you jump in piles of crunchy leaves. In autumn all the leaves will turn brown, red or yellow. You can smell wet rain water in big areas like forests. In autumn you can taste juicy apples from small apple trees.

The Autumn time is here and I can see that the beautiful green leaves are turning orange, gold, and brown. I can also feel the wind beggining to get a bit cold and heavy, as I walk through the Park. I can hear the crunchie sound that the leaves make when you step on them. It sounds just like when you’re munching on a yummy cereal bar. I can smell the freshines of the Autumn leaves and trees and taste my favourites caramel apples, pancakes and delicious pies.

I wake early. It’s still a little dark and feels incredibly chilly. I pull on my warm clothes and set off . Along the way I’m dazzled by the glistening sun. Bright reds and oranges, deep browns and ever changing green leaves dance on the tree branches above and on the dusty ground beneath my feet. I love the crunching sound as I stamp along in my warm boots. The stench of burning wood and leaves from the allotment fills my nostrils .I can taste the cold air on my tongue as I stroll on. This season fills me with happiness.

We use all of our senses to really enjoy the season of Autumn. We can experience the sights, sounds, smells, textures, and tastes of Autumn. Autumn looks like, the changing colours of the leaves, it’s beautiful. Autumn feels like, as the weeks pass and the weather changes, we began to experience chilly Autumn days. The tastes of Autumn are fresh baked bread, homemade applesauce and apple pies. Autumn smells like, smoky bonfires and like the smell of the first frosty morning and candles lit as night’s darkness falls earlier and earlier. Autumn sounds like, the wind rustling the leaves. I love Autumn.

Autumn has arrived! When I look around, I can see lots of different colours like red, orange, yellow and green. Standing on a leaf, makes it go crunch.

The leaves feel crinkly, hard and old. If you smell a leaf it doesn’t really smell of anything, but it does smell a bit weird. If you eat a leaf, it would not taste very nice. When it is autumn, it starts to get quite cold. You will need things like a winter coat, scarf, gloves and a hat. I like it when you can kick the leaves about!

Summer is over, Autumn is here. I think it is a fantastic season. When I go walking in the woods I can hear the leaves rustling in the breeze, and when they fall I always hear them crunching beneath me. I see the woodland animals are rushing around, collecting food for the coming winter. All of the different colours in the leaves make them a beautiful sight. The smell of the plants around me is hard to smell, but I once got a whiff of it, and it’s amazing! The Autumn wind blows against me, and makes me feel light and floaty.

    Autumn has arrived.

The leaves feel dry. Every leaf is red and the trees are bare. I can usually hear all the leaves waving and cracking and blowing around. I can smell decomposing leaves.

The conkers look like polished wood with a big, white dot in the middle. The conkers have a spiky case.

I can taste the wind and I like how it blows my hair around.

At this time of the year I can see mushrooms popping out of the ground. I can smell smoke from the chimneys. Autumn looks very pretty, and I’m glad God made it.

Autumn is cold, freezing, but makes me feel cosy. I see more darkness, and red and orange leaves on the ground. It’s very wet, most of the time. Birds are quiet, they like to stay warm in the trees. I hear crumpling, crunchy leaves, and squishy, oozing mud. I smell smoke and bonfires, and taste roast dinners, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. I now wear jumpers, coats, hats and gloves. These make me feel warm and happy. The next season is winter, which is the best time of year.

Autumn is a time when we see the leaves on the trees changing different colours orange & vibrant yellows. It feels colder so out comes our woolly jumpers to keep us warm . I love the smell of hot chocolate with marshmallows on top for a night time drink. It’s fun throwing the old leaves into the air they are crispy & feel dry to touch I love jumping in them too the sound of autumn is the wind howling as it gets stronger.

I could hear the birds whistling softly and the trees swishing from side to side. I could feel the wet fence beside me and the cold damp floor under my wet wellies. I could smell the beautiful chocolate cake from my next door neighbours house and the amazing flowers. I could see the wonderful trees and the blue sky with a yellow sun brightening the day.
I could taste the fresh air on my tounge but then I swallowed a wasp and had to go home. Then a few days later I went to the hospital.

I smelt the cold, refreshing air as I walked though the straight path. My feet were almost touching the cold, damp surface and my hands could only feel the misty air. I could hear the tall trees swaying gently in the rain, the birds were whistling softly as I passed. I could see the crispy, brown leaves falling from the trees up ahead, and I accidently stood on a fresh, juicy apple. All I could taste was roasted chestnuts which is what I had for lunch but then I swallowed a fly. I got to the end and went home.
