My performance and how I felt.
On Friday, as you know Mrs Blackett left our School and every Class had to perform for her. We did a song called “You got a friend”. I thought we performed really well. I felt really proud of us. Miss Fearn said that she was proud of us too. We had to sing with the Y1s and they did really well with us. I think that the song that we did will be right in the middle of Mrs Blackett’s unforgettable memories.
My performance and how I felt a tiny bit nervous about if I was going to be out of tune and If they don’t like it they would of laughed and it would of gone wrong and I was stood next to Tynasha and Katie who are funny and sometimes make me laugh specially Katie.Who is the best singer in the class alongside Revilno. Trust me, no one laughed at the classes performance. Good.
When I heard about Mrs Blackett’s assembly, Miss Fearn told us that we were singing “Youve got a Friend”, I felt exited. We practised every day. On Friday we walked into the hall and waited. When it was our turn to go on I felt nervous. When we started singing I didn’t feel nervous anymore, I felt exited about it. When it had finished I thought it was over too soon. Afterwards Miss Fearn said “well done everyone!” She also said that a lot of teachers came to her to say well done which me feel really proud.
And so you should feel proud. Well done.
The Year 4s had been practicing a song called “Friend” for Mrs. Blackett’s leaving assembly. They also helped the Year 1s do their song. We were all very sad that Mrs. Blackett was leaving. At the end of the assembly all the teachers sang a song too, I think it was a very nice song. I felt proud that we did the best singing in the school, though everyone did very well too. When I looked at Mrs. Blackett’s face I could see that she looked very happy.
Well done for this writing Eoghan.
This is a performance I took part in it was an assembly for a teacher called Miss Blackett she has been in our school for 23 years and that is a long time. The song that we performed for Miss Blackett was a song called you’ve got a friend by Carole King we sang the best we could. We also sang a song called Money, money, money and it is a song written by ABBA we sang that one with year ones. Hopefully Miss Blackett liked it; I know the teachers and Miss Fern liked it though. Thanks for reading.
Mrs Blackett liked it. She commented on how good you it was. Well done.
Y4 apparently has got the best singing in the whole
school and I’m part of it. We have sung 4 songs so far where we have been praised. These are: Row, Row, Row Your Boat; Money, Money, Money; By The Rivers Of Babylon and You’ve Got A Friend.
When I sing them I feel proud that I’m doing it. But I also feel a little bit embarrassed, and I like it when we get praised. When I was singing Money, Money, Money, I felt helpful because we were helping the Y1’s. I was definitely pleased that Mrs.Blackett liked our performance.
It was a very good performance. Well done.
When we sung for Mrs Blackett I felt we were all very good. Our harmony went REALLY well! After the assembly, Ms Fearn said a lot of other teachers went to Ms Fearn and said us year 4’s were good! Yey!! We all worked as a team, if we didn’t it wouldnt of been good at all. I felt we all tried really hard. We all got a star stamp for our singing. And it toped off the day when I got star of the week for my singing!!
Your efforts in singing have been brilliant Katie. Well done.

I really enjoyed Mrs Blackett’s leaving assembly because I liked the songs we sang and of course Mrs Blackett being there. The harmonies in the ‘You’ve Got a Friend’ song, I liked because it sounded great. It was also nice singing a song with the y1’s. The whole assembly was great but my favourite part was the dance at the end, it looked immense and when I was watching it it made me want to get up and dance with the y6’s.
Good luck to Mrs Blackett for the future and thankyou for all you’ve done for us!
Well written Cicely.
