  • 9th Mar, 2015 at 8:45pm

I woke up and jumped out of bed. It was the first day of my holiday. I pulled back the curtains… I know mum had said it was going to be out of this world, but I hadn’t expected this!

Describe the view from your bedroom  window. Try to use a variety of adjectives. See if you can use a ‘drop in clause’ to add more detail to your description.

It had blue hills and rockets flying in space. The Sky was full of twinkling stars in the dark blue Sky.I didn’t actually know if I was on a planet or not. Well I thought I was on a planet but then I asked mum if we were on a planet or not and she said it was just a blind and I felt so babyish. I Pulled the blind down and then I saw SPACE!

The sea was shimmering in the golden sun. Palm trees were swaying in the warm breeze. The golden sand was warming up. “How I love the sea” I said to myself. Far, far out to sea I saw a boat bobbing up and down in the sea it had a skull and cross bones at the top of the mast. It was a pirate ship! Three small boats were coming towards the shore full to the brim with pirates. AAARRR!!! They said angrily. When they reached the beach the pirates splashed ashore waving their swords above their heads. END.

I looked outside. I could see the dark morning sky and the twinkling white stars and then I saw something, flying across the deep morning sky, I thought it was a shooting star at first. But then it started getting slower and slower and I saw a dark green figure inside it. Then different colours trailing behind of it. Is it a UFO, who or what is inside? Could it be an Alien?

What’s that flying outside my bedroom window?
I woke up and looked outside my bedroom window it was still night time. I lay on my bed in boredom because I couldn’t sleep. I saw out of my window something flying by, it was a spaceship, bright red and sparkly. It was travelling very fast. Was this spaceship flying over the universe to invade another planet, or might it be flying over the universe for something else? I went downstairs, because I was curious and opened the creaky door. Then I saw the spaceship. It came in my direction and landed, bang. Mum and dad came outside…ooops!

I woke up and jumped out of bed. It was Easter. I looked out of my window and saw that the whole of Sheffield was full of bunny rabbits and Easter eggs. All the cars, trees and houses were made of chocolate. When I looked carefully in to my garden, I saw that lots of bunny rabbits were pretending to be the floor. Then I went to the toilet to brush my teeth. When I was about to go in, some bunny rabbits suddenly popped up in front of me! Somehow I was able to translate what they were saying.

I woke up and jumped out of bed. It was the first day of my holiday I pulled back the curtains when I saw a comet flash straight past my eyes. As soon as I saw what was there I screamed louder than the loudest thing in the world. I think I am on another planet I said to myself! I went down stairs to see if my mum was there, she was. “I know you said the holiday was going to be out of this world but I didn’t think you meant out of this world!”
    “oops.” said mum.

I pulled back my curtains and I saw a most unbelievable sight. I saw a shooting star whiz past me. There were three bright stars in the sky. It was dark but with amazing splashes of colour everywhere. The colours, which were vivid against the darkness, were all the colours of the rainbow. I thought I could also hear strange space-like noises of fizzes, pops and bangs. Mum called me. I zipped up my coat and set out to watch the fireworks display with my family for Guy Fawkes Night! The fireworks were beautiful, all different colours and shapes!

I woke up this morning the sky was pitch black except for the shooting stars appearing from the left and right. They were as bright as diamonds dancing in the air. The trees covered in silky white snow looked like crystal blue icicles. In the distance there were short, pink mountains that looked like giant marshmallows.
I wish I could just float down to them to eat them!

I looked outside and I gasped as I stared at blue ant sized and green elephant sized aliens, a giant metropolis filled with small, big, tall and short buildings.
Then the vehicles caught my eye. There were enormous orange ones and small blue ones and long green ones. Some had wheels, some had jets.
In the background there was a range of snowy dark mountains, covered in breathtakingly big forests and magical snow. It was amazing! Then I looked up and saw rainbow clouds!!

Robot Jim, who was the head of all robots, had been gone a few fortnights, so Peter had to take his place.
Tomorrow Jim was coming home. They had to make the village look spick and span. “Daisy you pick up the litter” ordered Peter. “Eli you clear the table.”
“BOOM!” Suddenly there was a big bang, Jim looked up and saw an orange shooting star. Peter knew that it was aliens because his Dad was stolen by them. “Quick, everyone get inside!” yelled Peter.
There was a big crash when the star hit the ground. Then, the door opened…
