Advent time

We have been finding out about Advent and how it relates to the time when we are waiting for Jesus’ birthday. We really enjoyed making our Advent wreath and we now use it at the end of each day for our Advent prayers and stories.

We have also been making our own Advent calendar. We have all made an Advent promise on a piece of paper and put it into a pocket of our calendar. Every morning, we open the ‘pocket for the day’ and read out the promise. We all then try to carry out the promise for the rest of the day.
