Cool science lesson today in Year 6

Today we were lucky to have Mrs Davis in year 6 to dissect an ox heart. She explained and showed us exactly how the heart works. We were also allowed to join in and touch the heart, to feel the fat, muscle, arteries, strings and valves. We learned lots of new things that we wouldn’t normally have a chance to see until we go to high school. I think that we impressed her with our knowledge of the heart and our amazing writing on the journey of a blood cell. Thank you Mrs Davis we really appreciate you spending time with us and answering all our questions.
