Holy Week

  • 6th Apr, 2020 at 10:59am

This week is a very special week in the liturgical calendar. Each day I’ll post a different station of the cross for you to write about.

You could also spend some time this week creating a Lenten prayer bag for your family with prayers, reflections, scripture etc.

Jesus knew when he was carrying his cross that he was going to show that he was the true son of god by dying on the cross. Jesus was sad but kept going.

Jesus invites us to take our cross every day and accept it. He will give us the strength to carry it.

Hi, it’s me (poppie), I don’t really get what we have to do on this R.E project. Could you please explain it for me.

      Of course.
A prayer bag contains different things to help you pray. The idea is that you can just take the bag, open it and either say some prayers yourself or lead some collective worship with your family. You could have: pebbles, prayers, scripture, ideas for how to respond to the scripture, rosary beads, holding crosses, pictures, stations of the cross – anything that you think reflects the time of Lent and Holy Week.
      Does that help?

Oh, I get it now. Thank you 🙂
