Mrs Curran’s Visit

  • 2nd Oct, 2018 at 11:25am

Today year two received another visitor. David’s mum, Mrs Curran, came into class to talk to us about being a nurse.

She told us about the uniform which she wears and explained why washing her hands is so important.

Together we named our internal organs and found out where they are in our bodies.

Then we used a stethoscope and listened to our heart beat.

Mrs Curran explained that you have to work hard in school to become a nurse. We found out that it’s a hard job but extremely rewarding.

We have one person in our class who would like to be a nurse when they are an adult.
