Today Anya (our school cook) came to talk to us about heathly eating. She explained how important it is to at a balanced diet.
We sorted different foods into those which are good for us, those that are not good and those that are best in moderation.
She also explained that all the meals that we eat at lunch time are cooked in school, from fresh ingredients. Nothing comes from a box or packet!
Eating at least 5 portions of fruit and vegetables every day keeps our bodies healthy. We promised Anya that we would try and eat a little more of the foods that we say we don’t like.
