Skeletons and bones at Western Park Museum

    It was so much fun and I love the fact that you can dress up like people from the past. Best day in year 4 so far!!

    This week we went to Western Park museum to look at bones, skeletons of people, animals who lived along time ago I got to hold a cat skull. There was sharks skulls too. It was a fun day out. Bones hold our body together if we didn’t have them we would be floppy. Some people break their bones and have to have them in plaster pots. The smallest bone is in our ear and the biggest is our thigh. We have most bones in our foot. The thigh bone is called the femur it’s above the knee the bones below the knee is two bones really called the tibia and fibula we call this our shin.

    It has been a great journey to the museum. Also in year 4 this is the best trip so far in year 4. Love it!!!
