Hi Year 2!
How are you all? I’m missing you so much.
I have added this week’s home learning timetable. I hope you like the new layout. Please let me know if it works better this way or not.
Again, do what is possible for you and your family. I know some of your mums and dads may have gone back to work, so it may be difficult. The weather looks like it’s going to be sunny this week. Slap on some sun cream and play in the garden or go for a walk. Whatever you do, remember to stay safe and be good for your grown ups.

Hi Mrs Mills,
I have been missing you too.I have written a set of instructions of how to make a firework.I have used adverbs of manner and bossy verbs.
I go for walks everyday and I find mini beasts and lots of cows and sheep.
I hope to see you soon.
Love from M
Hi M,
It’s great to see your smiling face. You handwriting looks amazing, you have been working hard.
Have you found the new home learning for June 1st?
Love Mrs Mills x
Hi Mrs Mills,
We have been having fun making these. We made the bunny and chicks from an egg box and the elephant from a milk carton. We went into the woods to collect the objects to make the minibeasts ππ¦π¦π·π¦ . I made a minibeast nest too. We made the spitfire on VE Day. Iβve been doing some maths and spellings/writing too.

Hi Oliver, it was so nice to see you last week. I love your home learning, what an imagination! The rabbit is really cute.
The weather has been perfect for walking in the woods. I went out on a bike ride today with Arthur and George.
Take care, love from

Hi Mrs Mills – today is National thank a teacher day and I just wanted to say a big thank you for being the best teacher and for continuing to help me learn whilst I am at home. I miss you and all my friends but itβs ok. Lots of love Isaac xx
Hi Isaac, THANK YOU so much for that but being the best teacher is easy when you teach the BEST class (don’t tell the other classes I said that!)
Thank you for all your hard work while you have been at home. I am so proud of you and all of year 2! I love you all and miss you very much.

Hi Mrs Mills
Thanks for your phone call today π
Becky xx
Hi Frankie,
I received the message from your mum. I was so happy to hear what she had to say. Let’s keep it up! Your mum can message me whenever she wants to.
I’m glad you did some maths. Have you tried the ‘I see Maths’ website (www.iseemaths.com/) . There are some great lessons on there.
Make me proud!
