Sacred Heart is a Catholic school in the Diocese of Hallam and part of St Clare Multi Academy Trust since September 2022 Our mission statement is ‘Love one another as I have loved you.’ There is great emphasis on our school values: Act with Love, Communicate with Respect, Lead with Empathy and Fairness and Serve with Kindness and Consideration. 

Sacred Heart is an increasingly diverse community with families joining us from a range of backgrounds, cultures, countries and faiths and many of our children speaking multiple languages.  

The school has embedded Trauma-Informed approaches and places the well-being of pupils and staff as a high priority. The school is calm and orderly and pupils are held to a high standard of conduct and offered support when necessary to reach this expectation. Parents value the family feel of the school and the care that the children and their extended family are given. The school is a Platinum School Games Mark school and has been for a number of years.
